Protecting the world's digital heritage for future generations

New York Art Resources Consortium (NYARC)

NYARC consists of the Frick Art Reference Library and the libraries of the Brooklyn Museum and the Museum of Modern Art Library and Archives.

Consulting for grant-funded "Reframing Collections for a Digital Age", a preparatory study for collecting and preserving web-based art research materials. Recommendations on best methods for web archiving, information that should and could be collected, and potential partners to engage.
Gail has proven to be just the right fit as a consultant for a NYARC grant project examining web archiving art resources. We choose her after receiving recommendations from clients including the British Library. She was thorough in her investigations and delivered a concise and well-organized report that met every expectation. We will immediately benefit from her recommendations and hope to work with her again. I should add that her great good humor made tackling a complex task more fun than it even should have been.
